The economist Fahad Ali in conversation with Raza Rumi explains how Pakistan can deal with its external debt in the coming years.
Two major suggestions that he has for the purpose include pushing for rescheduling of the loan repayments and also looking to improve the relations with the neighbouring countries. He says that Pakistan’s diplomacy will hold key for not only improving the internal economic situation of the country but also rescheduling of the repayments as an isolated Pakistan won’t be able to deal with IMF’s pressure.
